How to use the recharge code

To add the prepaid credit to your Italian TIM mobile phone, choose the option that is most convenient for you and follow these step-by-step instructions:

Via App or TIM website

• Visit the TIM website and sign in to your account in the MyTIM customer area or open the MyTIM app on your phone.

• Enter the "Servizi" section.

• Click on "Ricarica". 

• Select "RicariCard". 

• Enter the recharge code you received from us. 

• Confirm the data you entered.

By phone

• Call the phone number 40916 from your TIM phone for free.

• Follow the guided voice instructions. 

By message

• Send an SMS to 40916 with the text: RIC (space) PIN CODE (replacing PIN CODE with the code you received from us). So your text will look something like this:RIC 123456789

or 

• Send a free text message to the number 119 containing the PIN code of the RicariCard.

When you are abroad

• Send an SMS to 40916 with the text: RIC (space) PIN CODE (replacing PIN CODE with the code you received from us). So your text will look something like this:RIC 123456789

Note: With this option, you can also charge your Italian phone from abroad (remember to have some available phone credit to access this service), but only in countries with which TIM has roaming agreements.
