With the digital recharge code, you can recharge your KPN mobile in no time. To do so, call 1244, free of charge, and follow the automated instructions. Alternatively, you can send a text message with the text '123456789 Opwaarderen' to 1266. Simply replace '123456789' with the code you received from us.  

Once recharged, your phone credit and mobile data do not expire and are valid in The Netherlands, as well as throughout the EU. Are you travelling abroad with your KPN mobile phone? Then you can also use the mobile internet there.

How to check your KPN balance?

Do you want to know how much prepaid phone credit you have left? Just send a text with the word 'SALDO' to 1266. It's even faster if you enter *101# in the call screen of your phone and press the call button. Your balance will then appear directly on the screen. Tip: Download the free KPN app to keep a close eye on your prepaid credit and mobile data usage.

There are a few ways you can recharge your Dutch prepaid phone from KPN with more phone credit:

• Enter the code as text message, e.g. '123456789 opwaarderen' (replace ‘123456789’ with the code you received from us).

• Send the text to 1266 from your Dutch KPN prepaid phone from within The Netherlands.

Your prepaid credit is now refilled.
